Aligning with the stated policy of the Welsh Government (https://gov.wales/bovine-tb-eradication-programme); Aberystwyth University supported by funding from Welsh Government, the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales and the European Regional Development Fund has established a centre aiming to combat the most pressing animal health challenge for Wales today. The centre is led by Professor Glyn Hewinson, Ser Cymru Chair in receipt of £3M ERDF grant, along with Professors Hans-Martin Vordermeier and Bernardo Villarreal-Ramos.
Although distinct from VetHub1 we provided the Category 3 containment facilities that are integral to the Bovine TB Centres activities.
