VETHUB1 LABORATORIES
VetHub1 is a £4.2m Innovation Cluster providing secure facilities to study Animal and Human Pathogens. The Facility is set in the heart of the Aberystwyth University campus with access to world leading academic expertise and state of the art laboratory equipment. As a client, you can access some of the best Containment Level 3 and Containment Level 2 facilities in the UK. The facility also provides clients with office and collaboration spaces all supported by business and technical Support. VetHub1 is one of the many research and innovation hubs at Aberystwyth University, boosting the regional economy and increasing employment through investments.

Our services
Meeting Spaces
Hire of meeting spaces within the VetHub1 complex to ease interaction with our research experts and laboratory facilities. The office hub will act as an Innovation Cluster for collaboration with between clients and VetHub1. Office and desk space will be available (both sole usage and hot desking) in addition to wifi, on-site parking and access to tea and coffee making facilities.
Containment Level 3 and 2 Laboratories
Hire of space within our Containment Level 3 or 2 laboratories; where your work will be supported by our team.
Expertise
Consultative work with any of our team of expertise in livestock diseases.
Screening Services
We aim to offer pathogen and parasite screening services to complement and enhance current veterinary support services in Wales (watch this space).
